Mike is the Chairman at Re:Signal and owner of Piscari Associates. He has a proven track record of buying, growing and selling businesses with a sector focus on Digital Marketing Agencies, Professional Services, Architecture/Interior Design and Education.

Mike Lander previously bought, built and sold a £20m turnover change and program management consultancy.
Prior to that, he worked As Procurement Director at Alexander Mann Solutions and a Senior Manager at KPMG.

Mike is also a Business Coach on the Ford Hastings team. Because of his successful track record and experience, he works with clients like you to help you get clear on your vision and achieve your business and personal goals.

1. “You’ve been very successful at buying/building/selling businesses, what’s the secret sauce”
2. “You’ve had an interesting and very eclectic career, how does that tie in with your ‘focus, focus, focus’ advice?”

The reality is, there is no “secret sauce”. Each journey was unique with a few common approaches.
The question about focus is an important one that has taken many years of personal learning to get right. I like to think of it as “focused sprinting”. Some people do one thing exceptionally well all their lives. For me, variety is the spice of life, I have to focus on specific things for short periods and then repeat.
